My Ipod touch thinks its charging when it's not connected to anything...

    Any help would be appreciated. I have Jailbroken Ipod touch first gen on 2.2 firmware. Also my ipod is glitching, as in music will stop randomly and apps skip in the middle of a game =[ please help me

    I think you need to fully restore factory reset. If you then have the same issues, it's most likely a hardware issue - go talk to apple

    sounds similar to the problem that involves removing the sync cable only to have the iPod to continue syncing

    I suggest letting the battery die, then fully charging it

    if not, restore

    Like what the others mentioned, just restore your unit first... A visit to Apple is the next step should this fail to correct the issue...
