I got this problem with my iPod and I was hoping somebody would help me, Ill try to provide as much info as I can.

Like 1 month ago I installed something on cydia that got it to stop working. Now today I wanted to reset my iPod so I hooked up it to my pc and when I went into recovery mode it got a error. It dident say much but the error code was 3914 I believe. I thought okay.... So I went into my iPod and went to settings and then found delete all data, images and some more stuff I cant remember. I pressed it and a apple logo came up with a loading bar, when the loading bar was done my iPod restarted and then it got stuck at the startup. It had a apple logo with a spinning loading symbol that got stuck at some points, after like 10 minutes it restarted again and 10 minutes after that it restarted again.. Now its stuck at the same point. I used spirit jailbreak with my 3.1.3 iPod touch.

Here is the error in my iPodUpdater log:
    Code:
2010-09-20 21:45:39.271 [5808:13cc]: [tss] error from server=94 (This device isn't eligible for the requested build.)
2010-09-20 21:45:39.271 [5808:13cc]: server error (94): This device isn't eligible for the requested build.
    2010-09-20 21:45:39.398 [5808:1e8c]: iTunes: Restore error 3194
I tryed search on google and on youtube but nothing helped.
It doesent work to restore it. Ive tryed like 10 times..
Please help me, any help would be awesome

You're trying to restore to firmware that Apple isn't signing anymore. Update to 4.1, or use SHSH's to downgrade.

    Couldn't you just use recovery?

Google it and you'll see it
