Alright, my Ipod touch was jailbroken andI tried to update from 2.0.1 to 2.2. When it was updating, Itunes said an error had happened. I looked at my Ipod touch and now it is stuck on a screen of the Linux duck and reads "iPhoneLinux.org" Any help you guys could give me would be great.

    Device:
    iPhone 4 (Black)
    DFU and restore.
It's practically impossible to brick an iPod touch.

When I connect it to the computer Itunes no longer reads it as an Ipod, but i'll go and look up what a DFU is.

    Edit

    Thanks.

After doing the DFU thing Windows gives me a little message saying that my device has errored and Windows dose not reconize it.

Keep trying, DFU can be tricky to get into. When a little ballon pops up on the system tray saying - "Device recognised DFU" or something, you will know its working.]

If no luck after several tries, try rebooting (both iPod and PC) And try other USB Ports.

    ok wait wait

This is what you SHOULD do.
First: Turn of your iPod by pressing home and the run of button for five seconds
    SECOND: hold home button
THIRD: whilst holding home...connect to the computer via usb cable QUICKLY!!
Fourth: (must have itunes on) it will say: your device is now in recovery mode

    it should work....trust me
