My iPod touch 3G accelerometer won't work.

    I found a temporary fix, all I can do is restore from backup and it works for about an hour or two. But nothing else besides that... Please help if you also have ran into this problem before! Thanks!! :D ps I'm using 5.1.1 jailbreak

    Sounds like a hardware problem or even a software/hardware communications defect. I doubt you'll be able to fix it, aside buying a new iPod.

    My friend ran into this problem, since he was still under warranty he just went back to the apple store and got a replacement. Hope that helps

    My ipod shut off due to low battery and it worked! But sadly my ipod does this weird thing where it randomly restarts and it didn't work any more... :(

    I really need help here guys, anyone know someone else that could help? Theres gotta be some sorta fix. does any one know of a package that could be doing this?

    If a fresh restore (not from backup) doesn't fix it, it's a hardware problem.
