As The title says my Ipod 2nd gen is bricked since i tried to jailbreak it, during the jailbreak everything worked fine untill after ive restored the ipod with the patchedPW.ispw after that i couldnt continue with boot.bat Ahh now my Ipod dosnt respond, i cant start it, turn it off or put it in recovery mode ( holding both buttons 10 secs then letting go of the power button). And my computer dosnt recognise my Ipod... Please can someone help me get this f***ing brick to work again ?

    Heres what I do:
    1. plug it into a windows machine
    2. wait for "device not recognised"
    3. press power/home until I get the device disconnected sound
    4. let go of power

It may take a few attempts and adjustment to when you let go of power but it I dont find it to be 10 seconds.

And is it any special thing i should be looking for when ive started it in DFU mode? When i start it in DFU my way my computer locates a unknown device but itunes or the jailbreak iBoot.bat dosnt find my ipod, it just says ipod not connected.

AHHHHHHHHH. IM SO f***ING TIRED OF SEEING THIS sh*t. YOU CAN
    NOT
    BRICK
    YOUR
    IPOD.
ESPECIALLY WITH REDSN0W. YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO BRICK IT. Post after if you agreee.
