I installed the new software update for my iPod Touch and it all installed correctly, switched off, the Apple sign came up and it told me to connect to iTunes. However, I was already connected to iTunes. So I restarted my iPod but the same message keeps appearing. Now iTunes is not recognising the iPod!! It says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an unknown error occured (0xE8000065)

Can anyone help me with this??

seems we were using beta 1 of the 3.0 firmware. which is expired. so apple wont let you restore it
