Ok so I was bored and wanted to play enigmo, so I fire up my iPod and click on the Enigmo icon... it gets to the loading screen then crashes back to the home screen... I was like oh sh*t :|

So I decided to restart my iPod touch, and when I slide the red slider to power off, it powered off and then turned on automatically, and went to a connect to itunes screen! WTF!

    Why did this happen?

Is there something physically wrong with my hardware? Or was this just a 2.0 "extra feature"

Ok I am back to 2.0... But I would still like to know what happened? and if my iPod's hardware is damage?

My iPod seems to be working fine. it restarts normally, powers down normally. sleeps, beeps. wakes up, etc..

    but my question still stands...

It sounds like you might have replaced or deleted a system file.

Have you been doing anything via SSH recently?

    I haven't jailbroke 2.0... I was on a stock apple 2.0 firmware, I even purchased it...

I still think that this was a 2.0 glitch, but I may be wrong

2.0 5A347 is currently pretty buggy, apps crash for no reason and your ipod will restart occasionally for no reason, 2.1 will be a lot less buggy
