Hey all, I checked on the online support center here on the Apple website for the first time. I put my serial number and pressed submit, at the bottom of the screen there was a window that says "Current Warranty Status" or something and right under it, it said "Out of warranty"....Um, I purchased this iPod on the 26th of December last year why is it already out of warranty? This is the one time I really need help from Apple and now it says it's out of warranty? Why? Should I just give the tech support team a call?

I don't know about you, but your avvy is awesome.

Yeah, call them up and see what happens. Keeping in mind apple's great reputation in customer service, they should extend your warranty to Dec. 26.

Well I would guess that since it's the 21st they just put that. Do you have proof to show Apple that you bought it on the 21st? Anyways, what's your problem, we might be able to help.

Haha, Thanks. Yeah I will do, Ive read about Apple service with positive reviews. But is there by any chance they will replace Apple branded headphones if they busted and are under warranty? Iv'e been reading online that they will.

Kinda upsetting. But now you can go blow money on Skullcandies that everyone loves!...........Yet they don't see that they are garbage?

I'm not really a big headphone kinda guy, I never really have bought a pair for over 20 bucks....I'm currently using Zune headphones because my Apple once have busted....I really did like the Apple headphones but they are crazy thinking that I'll pay 30 bucks for them. If it comes down to it I will buy and invest in some better ones.

Also Nburnes, why does your device info say "iPod Touch 2g 4GB"? haha.

Umm... To answer your first question. Your iPod only has 90 days online and telephone support and 1 year warranty for the iPod itself.
