it just stays on the apple logo screen and ive tried forcing it into restore mode but it's not working. I'M ABOUT TO THROW THIS POORLY MADE POS AGAINST MY WALL.

And i don't want to bring it into apple cuz it's jailbroken...and is the jailbreaking the reason my ipod is f-ed up?

That might be the best option for you! No reason to go to Apple. Do you have ziphone? If so you can kick it right back to normal. If that doesn't work you may have to do a restore. Try ziphone in the advanced tab and try restore to Normal.

there are many threads like this, don't worry every single ipod can be restored with the right method.

theres no such thing as a bricked ipod touch.

and yes, the jailbreak is the reason it is messed up.

    to fix:

downlaod ziphone from ziphone dot org

open it, and select DFU mode from either the advanced settings menu, the mode menu (mac), or on the right side

it will restart in a mode in which you can restore on itunes

I would try and see if you can use ziphone to kick it back to normal mode. If it's acting funny you may want to do a restore, do the NVRAM fix and then jailbreak again.
