i just synced my ipod an application and it became frozen with the waiting wheel on the screen. so i tried to shut it off but then it wouldnt work so i pressed both power button and the home button to forcefully shut it off. then i turned it on and the screen with an apple came up and nothing more. ive been waiting couple minutes but its still in that form and nothing else. how should i fix this?

You will want to enter DFU mode and restore the ipod touch. Turn it on and then hold the home and power button for 15 seconds until it shuts off and exactly two seconds later let go of the power button and hold the home button for 30 seconds and the computer will reconize it. You can also try force restore. Shut of the ipod and hold the home button and plug it in and keep holding until itunes recognizes it.
