    me too

don't worry mine did this a while back too. i freaked the F out.
but its all gravvy. you have to uninstall 7.6 and get 7.5 from filehippo(or any other site)
then put it into restore mode AGAIN even though it already looks like it. Then iTunes will let you restore to 1.1.3, THEN you can downgrade to 1.1.1

well it worked for me anyways

I promise you, unless you actually took a heavy brick and "bricked" your ipod, its not actually bricked. Use the force restore, that always does the trick. To downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1, i suggest using the "DFU" method, which involves holding the same buttons for force restore, except then letting go of the sleep button once the ipod disconnects from itunes.

what you have to do is get Iphuc. enterrecovery, wait until your ipod enters in dfu.

if this method doesn't work. hold the home botton and the (while holding the home botton) connect the itunes cable. keep holding the botton.
