lately, my ipod has been acting VERY strange. SB has been crashing aprox. 9 times a day, if i want to delete something, everything i have typed becomes deleted, it will freeze up constantly making me need to Reboot, and just over all strange. its a 1g 4GB ipod touch, 2.2.1 Jailbroken. Luckly, i just bought PKG backup, so im not totally screwed.

Put it in DFU mode, restore via iTunes. Then, reload all of your Cydia stuff with PGKBackup.

    A) It's probably just a typo. B) A utility for backing up Package data.

Lol yeah. If its just crashing a lot, then I would just DFU restore, and be picky about what I install via Cydia.

More Apps = More Memory used = More RAM used = Crashing.
