My Ipod Is A Brick GRRRRR

    my ipods home button stopped working so I tried restoring to apple firmware so I could get it replaced but I got error 1602 when I plug it in I get usb device not recognized like normal but I cant get it into dfu mode since my home button doesn't work and im afraid to send it in because I think they'll know Please help!!

    Dont send it in. i believe there are programs to put ipod touch into dfu without keypresses ill google it.

    never mind they all require keypresses.

    so what happens exactly when you try to restore via itunes?

    are you sure, i could have sworn there were programs that forced you into dfu mode

    I searched and found nothing when I cant restore because I cant get into dfu mode if u can find a program please tell me

    i remember seeing a program that forces DFU when i was looking for a way to jailbreak my 2nd gen...i dont remember the specifics though
