So I just updated to 1.1.2 and ran the jailbreak and everything was lovely. My iPhone apps were gone so I decided to try just dropping them and the frameworks and whatever into my iPod using SSH. BUT my mail app wasn't working so I THEN found out that you could just install them with the Installer so I decided to go back into my iPod and erase each app and the framework and the mail preference bundle individually. I restarted my iPod and Now it has what I have dubbed, the Crazies. It loads up the main menu, then the little spirally load thing pops up and it restarts, shows the apple logo for half a second and goes back to the main menu. OVER and OVER and OVER again. It is, like I said, totally crazy. One other crazy thing, it refuses to go into recovery mode, will restart for 45 seconds or so, then show the "Crazies" thousands of times over again. iTunes does however recognize it and so does Cyberduck so I guess that it must be a springboard issue. Any ideas friends? Anybody else encounter the Crazies? Any pleasant words of encouragement? Or helpful advice? Talk to me.
