Would you like a guide that works? Have you restored yet?

Use the edit button and delete the double post before Chucky comes after you. Don't worry your ipod will be fine. What does it do right now? Anything on the screen?

you have to force the iPod into restore mode ( see various other threads to that) and then just reset it it will be fine!

Ha ha, now I have a double post since you deleted yours. Ok, do you see something that says BSD error over and over now?

hold down Sleep/wake button and home button until ipod restarts, then let go of the sleep/wake button while still holding the home button, after holding the home button for about 10 seconds(give or take a few) it should show the connect to itunes screen, then from there, plug your ipod into the computer and restore it on itunes

Alternatively, you could open up iLiberty+ and select 'Enter DFU Mode' under the 'Other Tools' tab.

Or they could do what I said since it works and they don't need more software.
