My iPod Doesn't Turn On!

umm im having the same problem guys so can u help me...u see my friend jailbreaked my itouch on his computer and also i dont know if i have rednOwed on my itouch so i might have made the mistake with changing the logo on my itouch...i need help since the jailbreaking process was done on another computer and i want to know how do get the DFU thingy and i also dont know if i have quick freedom watever that is but im planning on seeing my friend to fix it in december but i cant wait that long so can u guys help me and give me some tips please???

lol. look. 1. Redsn0w is an application that jailbreaks. so is quick freedom.
2. to change boot logo you need to have used redsn0w.
3. to DFU do this.
a. hold power for 3 seconds
b. without letting go of power, hold both power and home for 10 seconds.
c. letting go of power, finally hold just home for another 30 seconds.
the ipod shouldn't turn on thats good
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR IPOD IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER WHILE YOU DFU
plug it in and there you go. itunes will show up and give you the option to restore.
EDIT: while you are DFU'ing do not let go of any of the buttons.

Or you can connect it and DFU it by holding Lock(power) and Home until windows makes a ding! noise then release power until you hear another ding! then iTunes will probably pop up saying "iPod needs recovered" or something (if it does press shift and click restore then find your 2.2.1 file and restore) if it doesnt open iTunes and do the Shift+Restore thingy

And if IT STILL doesn't turn on email me, cause i had this problem and my itouch wouldnt turn on for anything in the world, but i was able to solve it. This guys ideas will probably work but just in case
