I'm not sure if this is the right section to put this, so sorry if it is the wrong one. this is my first post.

K, I installed this app onto my jailbroken ipod touch 2g that changes the boot logo. when i tried to change the picture to one of my own, I restarted it to see how it worked but it wouldn't turn on. When i plug it into my computer, it gives the following message at the bottom right of the screen:

"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message."

I have tried to put it in DFU. it doesn't work. (When i try it just shows that message again in the corner, and the screen is still off.)
I have tried to put it in a different USB port on my computer.

did u jailbreak with redsn0w? if not thats why its done this
Anyway, you can still put it in DFU mode as its a hardware thing, rather than a software thing, so just plug it into the computer hold power and home until you here it disconnect then keep holding home until you here another beep, then restore it

    did you use logome?

If you did I had the same problem you just have to restore it again.
BTW not all pictures work with logome thats why I don't use it

i used QuickFreedom to jailbreak, and since it wont turn on i cant put it into DFU to restore. and yes, it was because of LogoMe. is there actually a way to fix it, or should i just exchange it at Best Buy?

Yay! It finally worked to put it into DFU. I just had to hold the buttons for longer than I usually do.

Thanks for the help. My iPod is finally back to normal. I just have to jailbreak it again.

    dont use quick freedom again

go with the redsn0w on 2.2.1 firmware

    then LogoMe will work

that's where most of us are right now, i think

i personally am holding out on the 3.0 for a while to let everyone else test the water

that stinks. Probably a non-compatible image. Just put ipod in DFU and re-jailbreak with redsn0w. Why do people even use logome in the first place?!? it was a bad idea from the start.
