I've been trying to downgrade my ipod touch 16gb to 1.1.1, it ended succesfully, told me to wait until my ipod restarts, but that didn't come, so I restarted him manually. And now my ipod doesn't want to restart, i can see an apple icon when i reset (no backlight) and a sign "to connect to iTunes".

It is constantly in recovery mode, but recovery gives me 1604 error. I changed my USB ports, tried different computer, went on windows, tried both 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 ...

    What can I do ?

If it didn't work then whatever it is you're doing is not a force restore.

Read this thread very carefully and follow it to the letter. It will restore your Touch every time when followed exactly as shown.

I followed that exactly as shown, but still ... an error occures it says just "preparing iPod for restore" and after minute or two it says "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1604)."

Also during reset i see no backlight ...

try downgrading your version of itunes to 7.4.x or 7.3.x. That worked for me. I'm still using 7.4 and its still going strong
