My ipod 2.2 is stuck on boot screen...

    i have the same problem and it wont let me restore because when i plug it in it says it is protected by a pascode and to enter it on the ipod and i cant do that since its stuck

    I have the same problem.
    First i opened cydia, cydia crashed and i tried to restart the ipod.
    But then the ipod hand up on the boot screen.

    Now i try to restore my ipod with itunes.
    [EDIT] My ipod works again

    You could try to disable mobilewatchdog. It's located at /System/Library/SystemConfiguration

    um you can restore just turn it off and hold the home button while plugging it into your computer until the restore screen comes up

    I had the same problem. I was updating Installer 4.0 and the iPod crashed. I turn it on and it wouldn't boot. It was stuck at the logo. I am restoring my iPod.
