    Hey,

I jailbroke my friends iphone 3gs 3.1.2 with jailbreakme.com and everything was fine and cool..

One day he messed a little around with makeitmine and entered a text that was little to long for the statusbar and pressed the home button.

After that he told that the iphone started a reboot, but it stopped on the spinning wheel with the green pixels for 9 hours (most likely the battery was drained out then) and now the iphone wont start anymore..

    Anyone please help!!

I made that exact same mistake... I never used MakeItMine ever again ..

Anyway, when you plug in the iPhone, wait for the Apple Logo to appear and then immediately hold the home and power button for 10 seconds, the let go of the lower button and keep holding the home button until Windows finds the iPhone. Then open iTunes if it's not already open, and restore.

For OS X, just have iTunes open before you start this process.
