Well good luck to you for the next three years lol, but don't worry you'll do fine, and as for me, im finishing up my sophomore year, last exam on comparative government tomorrow, so hopefully after that i can just chill for a while, although I have some summer stuff goin on too. Oh and while we're on that, make sure you have one thing or another for summer, cuz not only does it keep you from being bored out of your mind, but colleges like to see extra stuff (or so they say ). And keep up the good work man, it only gets harder but keep you head up and keep going cuz there's not much else to do, and as for me, i finished off freshman year with a weighted 4.85 GPA, and ill be finding out this year's and cumulative soon hopefully
Well not all that much, at least not in my school. The class average of all three grade levels are all above 90 no one is concerned. Yet.
It's gonna be a sad day for those who just copy other peoples work when they get to college. It will be their own fault, too...
In your weighted GPA you do, in your unweighted GPA you don't. In weighted: A in AP/Honors = 5.0 B in AP/Honors OR A in Regular = 4.0 C in AP/Honors OR B in regular = 3.0 etc. In unweighted: Any A = 4.0 Any B = 3.0 etc... Basically your weighted GPA is a measure of the difficulty of your classes, and your unweighted GPA is a measure of your average grades. Some don't care about 9th grade, but 10th grade is usually a factor. However 11th grade is the most important; you really don't want to get any Bs that year.
Yeah i know what it is, i just wanted to make sure that their 3.5 GPAs were unweighted because a 3.5 weighted isn't very good imo.
Next week is my last year of highschool. I don't even understand a quarter of this. School is simpler in Canada.
It's a super expensive private school, high grades are pretty much expected. Our homework literally provides nothing for us; sometimes it's just a worksheet with four multiple choice questions and a small essay, or 10 short answer questions, anything light. The teachers really don't care as long as the students understand the material. However, if the class is showing they don't understand the material, a hefty assignment is given not for the sake of b*tchiness, but because "hey, I wanna help you out, try to complete this and we'll go over what you don't get."
