So i was messing around in photoshop and i made a desktop wallpaper. It's a little random, i know, but I'm quite happy with it. This is the first big thing I've made in photoshop. I've only made a couple of avatars and some lousy wallpapers before. I usually replace the "Puzzle" with my name but, yeah.. Please comment and criticize

Also the reason its so empty in the top right side, is because thats where i keep my shortcuts

i think it turned out quite nice
the only thing that bugs me are the striations that you can see where the brown fades to green
i'm not sure how you'd go about fixing that though
    xP
    otherwise, its very good
    its neat and tidy
nothing messy or over the top
    nice job
    =)

yeah I agree - its because a square gradient was used. try using a circle gradient instead. I hate square gradients because they do that

yes much better. I wonder why square gradients do that. I mean I know WHY it ends up like that, because of the algorithm used to make the gradient, but adobe has to know that those lines affect the outcome.

Well I could try at least, but I'd have to redo the whole thing. It will be some differences. I will also need some suggestions from you guys. Should I keep the gradient, text and/or puzzle pieces?

    Yeah thanks for the tip
