iOS 3.1 My device is "bricked"

    okay well i restored and opened blackra1n with nothing else open. and hit make it ra1n. it said entering recovery for like 2 min. soo i exited blackra1n reopened it and hit make it rain again. so then it did the same thing. and its still on the connect to itues so i opened i tunes and it didnt show up on itunes so i tried to put it into dfu mode and it still wont recognize my device and the screen wont turn on. its an ipt 2g. any help? please im goin to florida tomorrow and i need something to do in the car. thanks.

    okay im restoring right now i plugged it and itunes found it right away. lets just hope theres no errors while restoring.... and jailbreaking

    Your device is more probably in DFU mode hence why it isnt turning on and theres nothing on screen. Switch usb ports, and open your ipod up in itunes, then hit restore.

    Are you restoring from firmware on your pc?, just press restore.

    If you have any problems: REBOOT YOUR PC! OMG I thought I bricked my sisters iPod when jailbreaking. Re-booting the PC made it restore with the custom firmware successfully.
