By gone I mean that they wont show up on my springboard nor can they be found using quickgold and other searchers.
The apps i lost are : Mail, Settings/Preferences , Stocks, Photos.

This all happened after I tried to install Supreme Preferences for iPod by iMario. The file downloaded and when it went to install, I got an error and then a pop up showed up and said I must delete the "half-installed" package or delete it.

    The error said " /var/cache/apt/archives/supremepreferencesitouch_2.0.1beta_iphoneos-arm.deb

'subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1'"

Now, I have no settings, mail, or any other apps that come with an ipod except for safari...

I think they are still there because I can see their folders when I ssh'ed in, and I also tried changing their properties to 777 and 775, but no luck..

I have also tried to reinstall some core packages but still doesnt work.

Can someone please help me fix this without going through another restore???

Do you have Sbsettings? If so go to More>Hide icons and see if the mail, settings, stock and photo apps are hidden

I already checked that, and the on turned to 'on'..I turned them off and re enabled them and then when i exit, my ipod doesnt respring.

Also, to make sure, I checked using QuickGold which lets you launch apps even if they are hidden...but the apps wont even show up in that

I just uninstalled MobileMusicplayerflip, and now my ipod/music icon is gone too.

But i got it back once i reinstalled mmpf.

guess I might need to restore later if there's no other solution =/

Or maybe someone can upload the applications and he can SSH them back (I would do that but I am going to sleep in like 5 minutes..).
