    im using a p.c.
itunes cant see my ipod when i hook it up & my computer cant see my ipod.
everytime i try to connect my ipod it says that it found new hardware & i have to install some software for my apple mobile device(recovery mode). but i dont have a disk & it cant find any hardware to download so im stuck.
ive tried changing my usb cord using my old & new one that i got with the ipod. ive tried unistalling & reinstalling itunes & it still doesnt work.
ive tried a variety of things & it still doesnt want to work. someone help me please.

connect the usb in a different place.. or hold home for 10 sec while connected, then restore, then it should recognize it

how do i know if its a USB 2.0..im using the one that came with the ipod..is that it? it was working with that one the whole time so im assuming it is.
ive tried holding the home for 10 second & it still doesnt work. there is still a pop up on the bottom right hand corner that pops out saying "found new hardware".

I guess restoring your Ipod Touch is the only way... or formatting your pc(which I don't recommend.)

well my ipod shows that it is in recovery mode.(itunes&usbcord picture)
i cant get out no matter what i do.
so im guessing there is no way that i can restore it like that right?
and the only other way i can do it is my pc?
