After like a week of being down today it finally revived. Its like a zombie. There is still some water inside the screen that makes it look all blotchy, any suggestions to get rid of it? also the Wi-Fi doesnt work but that was to be expected

Put it in a bowl of rice, then put that in a dry cupboard.

Yeah try rice, that may help a lot!

its not. rice absorbs water. you can use dry rice, cat litter, anything that absorbs water well. (not a sponge)

I've seen something online about putting it in a bowl of like 91% isopropyl alcohol and then letting it dry out. The alcohol displaces the water inside and then you let it dry out and nothing is left. I think this was recommended to someon who dropped their iphone in the toilet by Apple. Call support and see what they tell you.

yea were doing the rice thing but I dont think it really works. My friend did it to his cellphone and it worked. Last night we put it on top of a toaster and It got rid of some of the water on the screen. Hopefully we can dry it out completely and get a new one

You put it on top of a toaster? That's quite possibly the worst idea I have ever heard.

then you could say the iPod overheated and started melting so you cooled it off with water.
