So if it is unlocked, is there any chance restoring/jailbraking will get rid of the unlock? So it isn't unlocked anymore?

You can't unlock the 3G as of yet.

Not the Jailbroken unlock, the store unlock.
If there is such a thing :S
Mum and dad bought it from an apple store and said it was ready to go, just convert your sim card and put it in, so we are going to convert it today at the store, what does he mean by "Ready to go"?

    Yes, in store activation.
Will force restoring, DFU mode, restore all settings get rid of the activation?
In other words, is there anything that can get rid of the activation?
Because I would cry if I managed to de-activate it xD

Use pwngetool or quickpwn. When it asks about activation "Do you have a contract that is normally activated with itunes" or something like that. I cant remember the exact words. Just click YES. This will keep your phone unlocked.
