When the battery on my status bar (time, battery, wifi logo) says say 49, the lockscreen battery (whether it be the mac battery or another numeric %age battery will say 56 or something way off. How do i fix it? I drained the battery and rejailbroke even, but it still does it. Help!

    Does it matter?
The battery lies all of the time. The battery lies on your computer (if you have a laptop) al of the time.
Mine goes up and down a lot too. It doesn't really matter.

That happens even without a non-numerical battery. But numerical HAS been know to be inaccurate.

the battery meter adjusts itself depending on what activity you're doing, it makes a rough estimate of what your battery life should be which is determined by what you're using your ipod touch for, the battery life given and the rate it goes down is a projection of what the battery life will be if you continue to do what you're doing with you're touch, eg. If you're using Safari the battery life might say 95 after 5 minutes, it's a rough estimate, whereas if you switched back to music it might say 98, i hope that made sense
