since you don't have much on there, i suggest that go to app store check for updates, and if you install updates, retsart your ipod. if that doesnt work, plug into the computer and click in the help and press check for updates, and install wutever and restart ipod. and if THAT doesnt work, restore it, and try again. and if THAT!!! doesn't work, i suggest you restore it on someone elses computer. and if TTTTHHHHAAAATTT!!!!!!!!!! doesn't work, call apple and see if you can get a new ipod (if you haven't voided your warrenty by jailbreaking it)

I was having that same problem... so i did the following....

    1.) settings> general> reset> erase all contents and settings
2.) Sync applications to ipod (after this the apps should work)
3.) Go back and sync music

    hope this work

If you're a first time user, you might have the same 'problem' I had...
Open iTunes, and go to Store > Authorise Computer, and type in your iTunes account details. Re-sync your iPod and apps, make sure you eject properly and try again.
