So I put some music on my 2G, usually albums from CD's and such. So I usually delete the file after I put it on there to the recycle bin just incase, but then whenever I put more on it, some of my music dissapears but it is sill in the iTunes libary, right? It happens every now and then and I cant seem to find the files but iTunes can play them in its libary so it somewhere around (If it wasnt I think it would give me the cannot find file error) So where is iTunes keeping the files? And why does it randomly remove the files?

Deleting the files is probably your problem see if it happens if you don't delete them.
