music only playing in 1 ear

    so please help with this only the left ear of my ipod will play and the right ear has a lil static to it. how can i fix this or have it fixed? i need it fixed badly its killing me that my touch want play its a 2g on 3.0 jailbroken i got it in november last year any help is greatly appreciated

    its your earphones mate... it always ends up happening to me.. such a pain -.-

    definately not the headphones i just bought these an hour ago and they play great on my sisters touch but mine is being a b*tch. and also my old pair of earphones was broke so i only had 1 earphone in all so i used it for a week or so did that possible effect it?

    Try blowing or cleaning the headphone jack?

    how would i go about cleaning it? Q-tip and alcohol?


    ive blown it out already still nothing if i have to replace the headphone jack how would i go about that? idk if its still under warranty i doubt it being almost a year old

    so my ipod is still under warranty im going to restore it from jailbreak condition. will they still know it has been jailbroken?

    Well you can check if it's still under warranty by typing the Serial number in to Apple's website.

    Did you make sure the actual music file (in iTunes) isnt set to Fade to one side?

    Try playing a bunch of different songs, but check them in iTunes by right clicking and selecting "Get Info".
