Hey guys, my ipod says "no music" when there is music on it.

In iTunes, it says it has 6gb of "other" which is actually replacing my music.. Must've been an error during sync or somthing.

it will, however, let me add music to my ipod and work, but i can't afford to have 6gb dead..

Where is the "dead" music located, so i can delete it? thank you.

I was having the same problem.. did you open the iTunes Control folder, open the Music folder, and then delete those folders?

Yep. Answered my own question. The 'Other' overload is gone.. and now to begin the sync process.
