Ok so this is on a 32GB Itouch 2nd Gen.

I plugged my ipod into the computer to charge and now that i've come back to check the progress, it's fully charged(yay!), but 26 GB of music has disappeared(not so yay), and my "Other" section has somehow acquired 26GB of something.

My music is definitely still on there, but I can't access it. I cannot view it from itunes and my ipod says "No Music". What a tease. I almost wish it had been completely deleted!

What happened and how can I fix this?

Your Music might have been messed up, SSH into your iPod and check it out.

    i hate this bug.

    its your "iTunesDB" file.
    located in var/mobile/iTunes_Control/iTunes i believe

did you do anything unusual before you got this problem?
