IT'S HERE! UNunify the iPod app! I always wanted to get the Music and Video app onto my iPhone 3G. I have tried SSHing into my springboard.app and editing the M68AP.plist file directly but ended up getting the Camera app and Contacts app removed. I searched online for a proper PLIST editor and used that program for editing and it works flawlessly! By the way, if you do this, and double tap your home to START music, it won't take you to the annoying ipod.app screen to select music. A HUD will pop up just like the one from the iPod Touch. Pretty neat huh? Here's the picture of the HUD: Please Register or Log in to view images Here's the picture of the Music and Video app: Please Register or Log in to view images ------------- Now do it yourself! You will need, A jailbroken iPhone 2G/3G (2.0FW or higher) A PLIST editor which can be found here (PC) SSH installed on your iPhone. Let's get started: 1. Open SSH and head to Code: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app 2. Look for the M68AP.plist file and back it up to your desktop. 3. Now duplicate the file on your desktop and name one, M68AP.bak (you will need the backup incase you stuff up) 4. Download and open up the PLIST editor I have supplied you with 5. Open the M68AP.plist via the editor and look for the word Code: unifiedIPod Please Register or Log in to view images 6. Save it as the same name then transfer it to the springboard.app 7. Respring and you're all done! Shouts to: modmyi for the Editor pignosepower240 & thechungster for the pathway and basic ideas.
