When you press Home on an app, does it close or minimize it? If it minimizes it, is there a way to close an app completely without having to minimize, double-click Home to show running apps, press/hold apps to wiggle, then close? That seems like a major hassle to close an app ...

Yeah, it is a hassle. Plus the task manager just shows every app you have opened. It doesn't even tell you if it's actually closed or just paused.

I installed the Remove Recents package in Cydia from Bigboss's beta repo. Now it just shows the backgrounded apps. Works a lot better.

Does a single press of Home close the app and double press show running apps and therefore backgrounds it?
