iOS 4.0 Multitasking speeds up my iPod!

    I have a default firmware iPod touch ok? And when I jailbroke with redsn0w 0.9.5b-5, it became faster! How can this be?

    dunno same thing happened with my ipod touch 2g but no jailbreak just enable multitasking. Maybe its some hidden memory freeing code that was needed to install it. Enabling multitasking makes the devie partly think it's an iPhone so it is possible that it thinks it has more memory and therefore uses some extra memory apple wants to not allow because it is for emergencies or it overheats or something.

    I jailbroke my second gen MB model iPod touch with redsn0w 0.9.5b-5 and Only chose multitasking. It's faster

    Yea I have a 2G MB w/ zToggle. I turned off custom wallpapers.
