i would like to know is there any way to disable the default Multitasking in ios4...
no but there may be a way if you have it jailbroken. I've heard there is some way of doing it, editing a plist or something.
Or you could just not lie?
Navigate to /System/Library/CoreService/SpringBoard.app/ and look for N82AP.plist
Edit that file and just remove the multitasking key. Voilà, no more multitasking Please Register or Log in to view images

Edit the .plist
OpenSSH on Rock/Cydia then install WinSCP,on your computer.
find the springboard.app and find the N72AP.plist file (Depending on your iPhone or iPod Touch this file name will be different on all devices)
Change the true to false so it looks like this:

Dude, I don't think his intent was to lie. Dude, how will he do that? He has a 3g ipod touch. No jailbreak yet unless he has 3.1.2 blobs. But yea, if you have jailbreak the above method will work.
Are you jailbroken? If not, then you can't disable it yet. Once you are jailbroken, you can search in Cydia for something like "Disable Multitasking". That should change the Plist for you, disabling multitasking.
Actually if you have a jailbroken 4.0 device, go into Cydia>Sections>Tweaks. Then look for a feature called "features (for Ipod 2g) Then you can disable and enable at will through winterboard Please Register or Log in to view images
