Hey everyone. Got a quick question for you all if you don't mind helping me out.
So I have a nokia 5300 xpress music phone which plays mp3's but since you download mp4's from itunes I can't put them onto my phone. Does anyone know how to change the mp4's into mp3's?
    Thanks

Burn them to a CD and then rip them back onto your computer .they should be mp3

Yup. That's the one. Don't need to convert videos, just songs from m4a to mp3. Possible?

full1 every single post I've seen by you is wrong info or a random post, and I'm beginning to wonder if you're just posting to get your post count up.

On the other hand @ thread starter: You can't convert those two files, as said before one is a video format and one is sound.

You may be confusing the file types what kind DOES your phone play?

Actually, you can convery m4a or ACC to MP3 right through itunes.

Go to itunes>Prefrences>Advanced and then under the "import using" tab select "mp3 encoder". Then when you right click where it usually says "convert selection to ACC" it will say "Convert selection to MP3"

If you purchased the music from itunes you might need to strip the DRM protection to do this. There are free programs floating around the internet that will do this for you that a simple google search could uncover. To remain kosher they usually just ask you for your itunes name an p-word to make sure u actually legally purchased the music.

Hope that helped. Rep if it did.
