is there a way I can move a folder or a file with term-vt100? I cant access my applications folder or a few others wit finder or ssh, but terminal always works for me. maybe I could upload the files into my ipod somewhere else and move them with terminal?

all you need to do is enable `System File Access` from Finder settings. Then you can access all folders.

no that doesnt work. I also cannot use ssh to get in there. I think its more of a jailbreak issue than anything else, but I dont really wanna restore, as this isnto too big of an issue

yeah, you can move files. you need BSD subsystem installed i believe, but then run
mv (path of source) (desitination path)
    for example:
    mv /var/root/Media/Downloads/file /var/root/Media/destination/
if its an app, you do:
    mv /pathtoapp/app_name.app/* /Applications/app_name/
    then you do the permissions:
    chmod -R 755 /Applications/app_name/*

I installed the fix, I reinstalled finder. Im willing to bet its just an issue that occured while jailbreaking, that the applications folder wasnt allowed access fully.

anyway thanks paintball, I'm going to go try this now!
