I have purchased music through iTunes on my ipod touch and would like to get it to my computer (PC - Vista) for backup. The iPod touch demo video on the apple site has the girl saying that any music bought through itunes on the touch can be transferred to my iTunes library on my computer. Did I hear this wrong? If you can sync purchased apps from the iTouch to iTunes I would think you can do the same with music.

Ipod touch manual is no help

Right click your iPod in the device menu and click transfer purchases.

    iOwnLP is exactly right.

Go to the iTunes ON YOUR COMPUTER
On the left panel you'll see devices (make sure your iPod is plugged in)
Right click your iPod and click Transfer Purchases (this will also transfer apps for backup)

    YAY! Congratulations.

As long as your signed into your iTunes profile, you will always have your purchases availble to transfer.
