Does anyone know why they move the power button?
It's easier for right-handed people to turn on their devices when the power button is the right.
I don't think that's the actual reason though Please Register or Log in to view images
Initially, I think they put the Power button on the right side because the wifi chip was on the left side so maybe there was no space. But now since the camera is on the left side, there is now space for the Power button so they put it there to keep it consistent with the iPhone.

I think it's harder to turn on/off. I am right handed but I hold my iPod with my left hand so I like in on the left side.
I think it's harder. I use my pointer finger, and kinda grip it like the 'death grip' (with my right hand). So it would be really uncomfortable for me. Kinda annoying, it would take time to get used to after doing the same thing thousands of times. Just a little thing that nags me about it.
I think it was just to match the iPhone. I recently acquired some iPhones; I like the lock button location a whole lot better on them than I do on my iPod Touch.
same, its going to be annoying using the new ipod.
im right handed and its easier to use with the button on the left
It's just because we're used to it being where it is now Please Register or Log in to view images We'll get used to it's new place.
