Is it possible, to move all icons apart from the 4 in the dock, to the second scroll page?

Which would then enable the wallpaper i choose to use to be seen properly?

I hope you understand what I mean.

    Thanks,
    Sam.

Sam, by lot, I'm sure you mean lost. That said, when you edited your icon list, how did you do it? Did you edit the N45AP.plist file? OR was it be some other means?

The most common cause of all your icons disappearing is because of an error in the N45AP.plist. Fortunately, it is very easy to fix.

i put everything into "extended springboard" in the customize icon arranger program.

Which left me with nothing, but bottom docks.

Ive deleted the Customize folder, and the info.plist file within Summerboard, but still no icons!??

Okay, this should fix things. Bear with me because i'm at work, so things might be just a hair off, but I think I can guide you well enough.

    1) From your computer, SSH into your iPod and type in
    /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
This should open up Installer on your iPod.

    2) Reinstall Customize. Note, you might have to uninstall it first, even though you deleted the folder.

    3) On your computer, type in Ctrl+C. This will close Installer.

    4) Still in SSH, type in
    /Applications/Customize.app/Customize
    This will reopen Customize.

    5) In Customize on your iPod, Find all of the icons you want back on your SpringBoard and drag them into the appropriate section.

    6) Type into SSH Ctrl+C to close Customize.

    7) Reboot your iPod.

After this is all sorted away, please go find a copy of the Info.plist for SummerBoard. You do need that.

I have the same problems as mentioned above, but the only thing is i only turn on ssh when i need to use it and now its off (as well as my wifi..

Please Register or Log in to view images

    )

is there any way to do the fix using iphuc?

for some reason iphuc always brings me to the var/root folder and i can't access anything else..

    Regards

    Darren

    *Update*
Well i fixed it, my problem with iPhuc was because i forgot to use the command "setafc com.apple.afc2" in iPhuc.. (make sure ur ituneshelper and ipod service process is off)

after that you should be able to see the System folder.

go into System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ and use getfile to get the N45AP.plist file, edit it on ur pc(you can find out how easily by googling, i just put Customize back to the main screen) and then use putfile N45AP.plist to put it back to ur iPoT..

    hope this helps
