I am wondering if there was anyway to mount files from your iPod using an SSH program. Currently I have Cuteftp and WinSCP and I have googled and searched for a good amount of time. I want to mount the files so I can use my main music organizer Media Monkey. If theres a way to mount the music file or the whole thing so that it shows up in Media Monkey that would be great.

The iPod uses a really bizzare file system and naming scheme so as of right now the only way to sync music is through iTunes (although there is a way to sync over wifi if you have a mac).

Well Media Monkey can read all the other iPods but since the people at Apple thought it would be funny if they turned off the disk use for the touch. If there was a way to get the music folder mounted, MediaMonkey would recognize it as an iPod and I could add and edit songs.
