Turning my iPod does nothing in any apps - rock, safari, photos, doodlejump. It was working but just stopped. Is my iPod broken?

Well, so I tried doing a restore through my itunes in my vbox. It restored it, but then wouldn't get rid of that stupid 'plug into itunes' screen that apple just has the sense to add...grrr..

When you do a hard reset, the iPt is basically empty of everything, so... that's why you're forced to attach it with iTunes to get it even booted the first time (on a non-Jailbroken device, that is). Nothing unusual going on with that, things have worked that way for half a decade now...

    I wish mine didn't work...
It annoys the hell out of me when I'm searching the net in bed and the damn screen keeps rotating!

You could turn that off. Just get the SBSettings toggle.

Thanks to everyone who helped. Reset all settings worked! I didn't really want to, but nothing broke or anything. Someone else posted about this and resetting helped them too.

Really? Whats the name of the toggle? I searched google before but couldn't find a thing!

EDIT: Found it (adding "SBSettings" to the search term did it)...it's called Rotation Inhibitor if anyone else is looking.
