Your system is really nice already. I would get:

    An SLI compatible AMD/Intel motherboard
A quad core (or at least dual core) 3.0 or above GHZ processor
You can keep your hard drive
4GB of ram is good enough, but I'd get around 1000mhz ram.

For a motherboard I'd get a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, great board, great for overclocking, crossfire support, great build quality.
For a processor I'd get an Intel Quad Q9550, or a Dual Core E8400, both are nearly top of the line in their bracket and overclock great.
Get 4GB's of 1066mhz RAM, g.skill and mushkin are my favorite brands
And for the graphics card I'd get a GTX 260, or a HD4890, the 4890 is a better card, but some people have preferences on nvidia or ati.

The Zalman 9700's aren't the best for cooling quad cores, so if you go quad, I'd definitely get the Xigmatek Dark Knight, one of the best air coolers and it's cheap, looks badass too.

    Hehe

A more reasonable reply. Get a new CPU and a better GPU.

Some type of Core2 and maybe something along the lines of ATIs bang for buck 4770
