When I open any apps besides Apple apps, Cydia, or Rock, they just crash. Doesn't do that on my sister's 3g 8gb JB 4.0.

    Any suggestions?

What apps are they... its likely some devs haven't been able to update their apps cause they haven't had the devices capable of being jailbroken until now (3G on new bootrom).

All apps besides the stock apps and JB apps.

Your best bet is to restore and jailbreak on a clean firmware. Then try it.

Do think I will lose my app data because of this? I doubt it, but IDK.

Probably but it's the best thing to do anyway.

You will lose your cydia data if you haven't backed it up and you will keep ur original ipod data such as Apps, Contacts, Songs, etc, because they are in your iTunes library.

It put me straight into safemode. If it does the same after you've restored ok but if it doesn't... let me know.

    Thanks for reassuring me. :/

I tried to sync it with iTunes, but it came up with the "Setup you iPod" page and I hadn't even done anything. So I clicked the list of backups and I found one that didn't have a date and some other ones with old dates, so I clicked the one with no date. Now it's restoring.

God, i'm going to lose my stupid data, I know it.
