First off, i'm sorry if this is the wrong spot. I was going to put it in OT Chat, but seems how it got closed.

Anyways, yesterday me and my brother went out and blew a crap ton of money on a couple of Mosin Nagants. Best of the lot, look really good. Anyways, we had to clean them and everything (took it deeper than just a field strip, considering the fact that they were made in 32-4 and have more than likely been sitting in cosmoline for who knows how long). And for $130 each they appear in excellent condition, well worth it. (We spent an extra $150 for 880 rounds of 7.62x54r) Anyways, i'm just here to brag and post pictures of how sexy they look.

Both guns on the case, before we cleaned them

My brother holding his gun, I love the nice dark wood about them.

That's the sardine can we got for ammo, one of these holds 440 rounds.

    What do you guys think?

I'm not sure why the M1 is so much, but i know why the Mosin is so cheap. During WWII the Russian's decided to keep all the rifles (Mosins, SKS's and what not) They stored them in a bunch of warehouses as a "Just in case" for a third World War. Now, they have much better things (Kalashnikov's amazing creations and what not) So they are importing and selling them for cheap, there's so many of them that they get good pay even after selling them for 100 some odd bucks.

    Mosin Nagant.

Yeah, that's my dad shooting it.

It seems like mine is more accurate than my brothers, Or atleast mine was sighted without the bayonet on.
