I have close to 200 apps, placed in categories. And various other mods.
I heard someone say to remove all your apps from 'categories' prior to jailbreak, but I can't do that, as I have so many and would surpass the 140 limit.

Post jailbreak, I guess I also can't sync/restore my 200 apps until i somehow reinstall categories, and install the apps in bunches.

I will be using aptbackup for my cydia stuff, but I don't know what to do about all the apps...

    Thanks for suggestions.

well once you update to 2.2, you just won't be able to see all your apps, just 140. They'll be hidden. After you jailbreak, you can install and use categories to sort them out.
