if you watch the PASCO presentation at the WWDC (at about 1:30:00) there are 10 pagedots on the springbaord in addition to the spotlight. is this gonna be a new feature of 3.0? i havent seen it mentioned anywhere.

I'm not sure it's 12, but I know for sure you can have over 9 pages of apps.

Why do you need more? I don't get it, but I heard there will be 12.

does spotlight search all your apps (as with the jailbreak app Quickgold), or just those on your homescreens

Why not just use the Categories app and you wouldn't have this problem.

but if I'm going upgrade to a non jailbroken 3.0, then I won't be able to use categories. I need to know that Spotlight will be able to find apps regardless of whether they are on the homepages or not
