how about some actual controllers for more intense games later in the ipod touch's life?

such as spore, which is most likely coming out...maybe.

it would be great to just be able to plug in your mini-keyboard with maybe just the needed keys. (w,a,s,d,space, control, etc.)
then maybe, beside it, have a small touch pad like the ones on laptops. (for mouse usage)

just plug it into the computer jack on the touch and you're ready to go.

this will also fix the problem with your fingers being on the screen when you are playing, and not being able to see what you are doing.
    which leads to:
the problem with the smaller screens in portrait mode....and not being able to see.

though this will be using the ipod mostly as a screen instead of the actual game...device, it still may prove well when bigger games come out, and you need to see what you are doing.

there ya go, something new to criticize.

this idea has been popping up for a while in the past, the thing with that is you would need a tech to wire it all and plug it into the ipod, batteries(some power), and a driver on the ipod to run it, so it is compatible.

bottom line, it is a lot of work that a lot of people arn't willing to do

that is if it is mass-produced by company.
